Lessons, bookings and weather

Bookings are made by WhatsApp or email and confirmed when we reply with a time and meeting point. Prices shown on this site include equipment (board, wetsuit) and instruction unless said otherwise.

Cancel or move your lesson up to 24 hours before, free of charge: we return what you paid. Later than that, the lesson is due.

The Atlantic has the final word: if conditions are unsafe, we move your lesson to another time or return your money in full. That call is ours to make, and we make it on the side of caution.

Safety and responsibility

Lessons are taught by qualified instructors in small groups, at beaches chosen for the day's conditions. Participants (or their guardians) confirm before the first lesson that they can swim and have no medical condition that makes surfing unsafe, and sign a participation declaration on site.

Surf camps: deposit, payment and cancellation

A surf camp is confirmed by a deposit equal to the price of the house. The deposit is non-refundable, but it can be moved once to another free week, up to 30 days before your original arrival. The rest is paid up to 14 days before arrival, when the number of surfers becomes final. If you cancel the whole camp, the deposit is kept and anything paid for surf packages is refunded up to 14 days before arrival. If some of the group drop out and the rest still come, each surf package given up is refunded up to 14 days before arrival, as long as at least three surfers remain; below three, the full price of a camp for three surfers is still due. The price per surfer depends on the size of the group: if the group gets smaller, the price is adjusted. This applies to surf camps only; single lessons follow the 24-hour rule above.
